DeleteThe inspiration for this was a runaway girl in Atlanta a few years ago. She was twelve when she disappeared, but the picture used for the news was from a couple of years earlier. The eyes still haunt me today.
BTW, the girl was recovered a few months later in reasonably good shape. She had met a guy (about 18) on MySpace who actually did take pretty good care of her.
